We all know that knitting gauge is defined as stitches per inch. If you go here, you can see knitting gauge at inches per stitch! Serious fiber horror, folks.
I especially enjoyed the orange pumpkinhead scarf/hat/brain-sucking alien, but I am sure you will find your own favorite, um, garment?

this is what gives knitting a bad name. Talk about chunky!
the thing is... almost NO knitter in her right mind would actually sit down and knit these things. they're not challenging, they're not interesting, and once you've made one, and seen how bad you/your mate/your dog/your cat looks in it, that'd be it.
Oh my Gawd! Sheesh, I worked years in high fashion, but I can find no redeeming features here, unless it is a sense of humor.
I like the gray octopus. I mean, helmet with mittens.
I have a sweater that size hidden in my closet. It was my first sweater, and I didn't realize that row gauge was important in a raglan. I also didn't realize that a sweater 52" around is a bad idea for a person whose bust measures 33.5" around. But you know what?
It looks way better than any of that horrendous stuff!
Ah, Batty, you are saving this sweater in your closet for....? It sounds like a good choice for a charity knit. And it's all finished!
Yeah, that gray octopus is rather fetching. As are the shoes. Or whatever they have on their feet.
And its little cousin:
