I refuse to answer any questions regarding the bobble yarn that so delicately rims the top of these socks. Suffice it to say that it's a long story involving Asherbanipal, a radish, two feemsters, and a Batmobile.
Ooohhh......those look fabulous! As soon as the picture popped up on my screen, the Green Woman appeared out of nowhere and started poking me, trying to convince me that we must find some fiber/yarn in that color right now!
Thanks Fleegle :o) for your kind comments and the fact you still 'read me'.
I look forward to seeing your embroidery. I love Japanese embroidery did a sampler once. I love the silk, most of the designs but not the strict discipline of this colour for this motif IYKWIM?
I've had such a hard day here that I owe you BIG TIME for the good (and so far only) laugh. Absolutely smile inducing socks - they definitely belong with a tuxedo or with sandals under a bridal gown.
They certainly don't lack a thing in the "bright" department. The bobbles do add a nice balancing touch and a bit of playfulness. I like them.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely LOVE them. Colors like that turn on some happy button in my brain. :)
ReplyDeleteDespite the brightness I love them and the bobbles!
ReplyDeleteWould the receiver of this work of art be so brave as to model this work of art in combination with the tuxedo?
ReplyDeleteHoly Carp! The person wearing those could power the Bat Light.
ReplyDeleteThose are Adorable!!!
ReplyDeleteThose are great!
ReplyDeleteIf loving those socks is wrong; then I don't ever want to be right again.

And you did not go blind knitting them either.

ReplyDeleteCan I send you a bill for a new monitor? Mine seems to have melted shortly after the sock picture was loaded.
ReplyDeleteOh sooo very neon!

ReplyDeleteThey would have looked great on the wedding party last month....

ReplyDeleteSo, is this one of the knits in your book - 20 Projects to Set Your Hair On Fire?
ReplyDeleteThese look like like such a fun project from spin to knit.
