That Harry is a Heirloom Knitting heretic God bless him :-) I love how that border is coming out and I can't wait to see the inevitable changes you make to the edge LOL. I have drawn the line at making yarn. I buy mine. I do like to make my own needles once in a while. Sandpaper is my friend. I also make stitch markers and bags from time to time. Maybe you need a Golding AND a Kundert (because I do have a 1 oz'er of those, too, it's a joy to use) and therefore round things out...until the urge to add to the collection strikes again, of course!larascreationshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17490681689856813573noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4463307798012270911.post-4049789002243106022009-07-14T16:11:23.712-05:002009-07-14T16:11:23.712-05:00I needed to smile today, and thisis beatuful!

I hadn't realised that the off-centre designs are balanced by fastening a small counterweight to the underside, and it's just insufficiently elegant even though it's very pretty. And it doesn't spin as nicely as my Kundert of similar weight.sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16291326380557787987noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4463307798012270911.post-47588443090668243252009-07-11T19:49:21.485-05:002009-07-11T19:49:21.485-05:00I have 2 Goldings and no Bossie, so I do not know ...I have 2 Goldings and no Bossie, so I do not know how they compare. I do love my Goldings deeply. The 0.8oz one spins forever and produces a lovely fine yarn that 3 plyed makes realy good socks. The 1.8oz is a great plying spindle.
